She is the founder of B’mom, a nonprofit organization based in Baltimore, dedicated to educating families—especially in underserved neighborhoods—on childbirth, postpartum care, and planetary health.
Through her leadership at Let Mommy Sleep Baltimore, Klara provides in-home care services for newborns and mothers, supporting families during the often fragile early weeks with professionalism and compassion.
Her approach blends scientific knowledge, cultural grounding, and deep human commitment, driven by social justice, women’s empowerment, and the recognition of diverse forms of knowledge.
